The Musée des Augustins is a member of a range of professional networks and works closely with numerous institutional, community and educational partners.

Musées de France

The Musée de France network is formed of 1,216 national and local museums. The Musée des Augustins, Toulouse’s fine arts museum, is a member. This network of institutions and professionals acts jointly to promote the sharing of good practices and the promotion of various professions.

FRAME

The FRench American Museum Exchange (FRAME) is a network of art museums and affiliated cultural institutions in France and North America. FRAME promotes interactions between museum professionals in France, Canada and the United States, encouraging collaborations in research, exhibitions and educational programmes. The Musée des Augustins is a founding member and plays an active part in its activities through jointly produced exhibitions such as Bodies and Shadows with Musée Fabre in Montpellier, and Benjamin Constant. Marvels and mirages of Orientalism with the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The educational programmes undertaken, such as The Art of Inclusion, illustrate an approach centred on intercultural dialogue and friendship beyond borders.

Musées Occitanie

Musées Occitanie is a network of museum professionals and heritage and cultural establishments in the Occitanie region. It includes over 200 professionals in all areas of museum activities (management, conservation, visitor interpretation, documentation, logistics, etc.) who are invited to discuss topical issues and good practices, and meet regularly to tackle contemporary challenges.

These diverse partners enhance the museum’s activities, increasing its visibility and opening up new horizons.
