Throughout your visit, you’ll find lots of freely accessible resources. You can use them for a sensory, creative, curiosity-packed, fun experience that helps you find out more about the artworks currently on display :
“Close-up of the artworks” audio guide
You can pick up a free audio guide called “Close-up of the artworks” from museum staff at the reception desk. It is available in French, English and Spanish.
Information cards in the galleries
You can consult different information cards in the galleries throughout the museum :
- On the colour BLUE in the artworks
- Available in easy-read format
- Bertille’s notebooks (comic book characters)
- Games cards
- Spot-the-details treasure hunt (different levels)
Museum Play along area !
In this creative area, you’ll find out more about the collections through play. It gives families the chance to take a little break in a special area entirely devoted to play and learning, so children and their parents can delve deeper into the museum collections. A place for observing, touching, creating, and more.
Multi-sensory itinerary
This itinerary involves a set of interactive terminals that fit seamlessly into the design of the different museum spaces. It turns your visit into a truly immersive experience, by encouraging visitors to make full use of all their senses, so they not only touch, but see, hear and imagine as well. These mediation resources, located throughout the galleries, are another way of approaching and exploring the collections.
Accessibility
To make your visit more comfortable, various items are on loan from reception (wheelchairs, magnifying glasses, audio induction loops, etc.), while folding chairs are also freely available throughout the visit.

Our museum mediators regularly provide fast-track presentations of the museum and its collections. You can find out what’s available on the day at the museum reception desk.

Guided tour
Every day, our museum guides take you on a tour of the collections or organise special themed tours. Use our online ‘Exhibitions and events’ search tool to select your guided tour and book your place !
Let’s talk art
Reach out to the student-mediators in the galleries. They’ll be happy to talk to you about the different themes explored in the artworks.
Outside of school holidays : Friday 2 pm to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 3.30 pm to 6 pm, first Sunday of every month and during the monthly late-night opening session.
