The Mus\u00e9e des Augustins is Toulouse\u2019s fine arts museum. It is a firm fixture of both the city\u2019s past and present: characteristic of Toulouse\u2019s urban fabric, the former 14th<\/sup>-century Convent of Les Augustins is nestled right in the city centre. Its large cloister and garden offer a unique environment for visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collections include exceptional medieval sculpture, a wide selection of very large 17th<\/sup> and 18th<\/sup>-century paintings produced in Toulouse and further afield, and a noteworthy collection of 19th<\/sup>-century paintings and sculpture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mus\u00e9e des Augustins closed in 2019 for emergency renovations, and a multiphase project was launched to make the museum more accessible, more modern and better aligned with the expectations of today\u2019s visitors. The museum partially reopened to visitors on 19 December 2025. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>
